    But the once thriving Homewood Bay (also known as Mary Bay) fell victim to a shift in demographics and families left, bidding farewell to the hall which was once the focus of so many lives.

    A community group has called for help to safeguard the future of the historic hall which has gradually fallen into disrepair.
