In an effort to check the spread of dengue, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) has decided to levy a hefty fine on those who allow water to stagnate in the surroundings of their homes, thereby creating a favourable condition for the breeding of aedes aegypti mosquito, the carrier of the dreaded disease.
